Organised by Agoge martial arts school, the tournament is being held this weekend for followers and admirers of Brazilian jujitsu (BJJ).

BJJ is a set of specific techniques that allows a smaller person to protect him or herself against a stronger opponent.

The difference in belt colours also makes tag team a thrilling sport, as a black belt martial artist can fight with a much bigger team.

The recent success of Quintet Grappling, created by MMA master Kazushi Sakuraba, inspired Agoge Viet Nam to organise this tournament.

Beside the adjustment of some rules for the tournament like switching an artist twice in a match, the tournament also focuses on helping participants experience new things and increase their connection with local clubs.

The tournament will be held on November 24, from 5pm to 11pm at Agoge martial arts school, 16 Thanh Cong Street, Ba Dinh District.

Participants who wish to join can register at www.facebook.com/AGOGE/.
