The German Business Association (GBA) will team up with the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi to host the 6th Hanoi Oktoberfest by the hotel’s lakeside from 6pm to midnight from October 22 to 24.

“Oktoberfest 2014 was one of our most successful events, highlighting the detail-oriented services the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi provides,” said Mr. Georan Soelter, the hotel’s Director of Operations. “To continue the tradition and success of last year, this year our team will bring guests another splendid festival filled with luxury, beauty and, most importantly, German culture. Guests will have a true German experience that they will never forget.”

Featuring a 1,600 sq m Marquis with traditional seating for up to 1,500 people, this year’s is set to be the biggest Oktoberfest ever in the capital.

GBA’s Oktoberfest in Vietnam certainly creates the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest in Munich.

The team at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi will be serving a variety of Bavarian specialties typically associated with Oktoberfest, including German sausage and pretzels.

Guests can avail themselves of free flow König's Pilsener, a genuine German beer, in their own keepsake mug, enjoy exciting Bavarian classics performed by the Anton Show Band, and take part in fun games and lucky draws amid the stunning scenery of the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi.

Tickets and sponsorship packages are now on sale and available from the hotel, GBA, and GIC/AHK (German Industry and Commerce Vietnam).

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival and has been held annually in Munich for 205 years, with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.
