The concert will also feature the participation of the Korean head coach of Vietnam’s national football team Park Hang Seo along with other famous Korean and Vietnamese artists, such as the band Mamamoo, the band Pentagon, Noo Phuoc Thinh, and Toc Tien.

Kim Heung Gyu, head of the organising board, said the concert aims to maintain the cultural friendship between both the Republic of Korea and Vietnam. He added that the concert allows Vietnamese people to gain a better understanding of Korean culture.

The We * Friend concert is expected to welcome a total of 30,000 spectators. The price of tickets will be between VND350,000 and VND4 million.

Rain was named as one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time Magazine. His hits include “I Do”, “Bad Guys”, “How to Avoid The Sun” and “It’s Raining”, all of which wildly popular among K-pop fans in Vietnam. He married famous Korean actress Kim Tae Hee in 2017.
