This morning American renowned saxophonist Kenny G and his team arrived at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport. Information on his schedule was kept secret so only members of the organizing committee welcomed the artist at the airport.

The organizing board said that they did not disclose information about Kenny G’s flight at the American artist’s request. "I do not want the fans in Vietnam to be tired of waiting for me at the airport. I hope you save your strength to enjoy our concert tomorrow".

At the concert at the National Convention Center tomorrow night, Kenny G will stand very close to the audience.

Kenny G has brought his entire band to Vietnam, including the artists who have accompanied him since 1986: pianist Robert Damper, guitarist John Raymond, bassist Hussain Jiffry, drummer Daniel Bejarano and percussionist Ronald Powell. Kenny G does not use local artists or orchestras during his tour to ensure the highest quality of his shows.

Montfort Trueman, chief technician, said the technical requirements are the same as any stage, including Vietnam, to ensure that Vietnamese audiences enjoy the show of the same quality like those held in the US or Europe.
