A wide range of cultural and art activities will be held in the coastal city of Nha Trang to welcome in the Lunar New Year, according to Khanh Hoa province’s Department of Culture and Sports.
Accordingly, the Exhibition House of Provincial Culture Center will organise an ornamental plant exhibition between February 1 and 9, Chinese chess from February 7 and 9 at the 2/4 Square, while a number ofstreet art performances will be held at Tue Tinh Park from February 5 to 14.
The highlight of the cultural activities will be the 120-minute art program held to welcome in the New Year at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang on Lunar New Year’s Eve.
In addition, the Center for Conservation of Monuments in Khanh Hoa province will organise performances of traditional musical instruments, calligraphy art, as well as ceramic making and brocade weaving techniques of the Cham people from February 5-10.
There will be an exhibition displaying collections of the Khanh Hoa Museum from January 29 for visitors and a swap and meet market on February 9.
Khanh Hoa is one of the localities set to attract a large number of local and foreign visitors during Tet. The province is hugely popular among guests with foreign arrivals coming mostly from Russia, China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.
