After touching down at Tan Son Nhat Airport in the southern city, he will then be put into isolation in a hotel in HCM City for a period 14 days in line with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control measures.

During his time in quarantine, the Thai coach will be working online with HAGL FC’s players and his new Vietnamese colleagues, including doctor Dong Xuan Lam and consultant Huynh Van Anh, who previously played along Kiatisak.

After finishing his isolation period, Kiatisak will start his new job as head coach of the V.League 1 club. He will review football matches involving HAGL FC during a training camp held between Dec. 28 and Jan. 5.

The Thai coach is keen not to put too much pressure on his players about what can be achieved during the 2021 season of the V.League 1, although he expects to lead the club to a top five finish in the domestic league. VOV
