VietNamNet Bridge - It was the odd death of Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Hanh, 44, from Hoa Binh 2 commune, Tay Hoa district in the central province of Phu Yen.

In the afternoon of April 22, the local authorities of Hoa Binh 2 commune confirmed that the woman died in the Phu Yen General Hospital by being stabbing through the heart.
 
According to the victim’s family, at around 5 pm on April 21, Mrs. Hanh took a duck to the backyard to slaughter it for the dinner. When she just put the duck to the ground, after cutting its throat, the duck suddenly stood up and ran away.

The woman held a knife and chased after the duck. Unfortunately, she tripped over a stone, fell down and was stabbed through the heart by the knife.

Hearing the scream from the backyard, the woman’s family members ran out and saw her lying on her front and blood spreading all over. The family brought the woman to hospital but it was too late.

According to doctors, the knife stabbed the vital part and the woman died of losing blood.
