The outfit has been carefully designed by Le Long Dung and draws inspiration from the figure of boats, crocodiles, and pelicans.

Most notably, the highlight of the design is the headdress which features a boat carrying six fishermen. The costume is primarily comprised of silk and aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends at the event.

This comes after Philippine beauty website Sash Factor named Duyen among its Top 5 leaderboard, with the winner of the crown ultimately expected to be Indian beauty Ritika Khatnan.

Moving forward Duyen is predicted to win the first runner-up spot, with the others in the Top 5 anticipated to be the contestants from Thailand, South Africa, and the Czech Republic.

The Can Tho native also made the Top 11 ranking of global beauty website Globalbeauties, alongside others representatives from the Czech Republic, Jamaica, Indonesia, Colombia, South Africa, Turkey, and Poland.

Duyen, 27, began to take part in Miss Supranational 2022 from July 1 when she entered the Top 5 of the Top Model contest, won the Supra Model Asia sub-title, and was named in the Top 5 of the Supra Chat sub-contest.

Moving forward, the semi-final night and the grand final are scheduled to take place in Poland on July 13 and July 15, respectively, with the events drawing the participation of 70 contestants from across the world.

Chanique Rabe currently holds the crown of Miss Supranational 2021 after becoming the first representative from Namibia to win the global pageant.

Miss Supranational is an annual international female beauty pageant which started back in 2009, with most contests being held in Poland. It is one of the biggest five pageants in the globe together with Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
