The first quake was measured as magnitude 3.3 and occurred at 6:10 a.m., with this being followed by four other quakes measuring between 3.0 and 3.5 on the Richter scale.
Fortunately, these tremors posed no risk of a natural disaster, the Institute of Geophysics said.
Since the beginning of this year, Kon Tum has registered a total of 24 quakes.
Previously, last year saw Kon PlongdDistrict record hundreds of tremors, with the biggest measuring 4.7 Richter scale with a depth of around 8.2 kilometres.
