VietNamNet Bridge - While many Vietnamese fans bought tickets and waited to see Lee Min-ho, Lee Min-ho’s company on Tuesday posted an announcement on the cancellation of the show in Hanoi, Vietnam on its facebook page.

The announcement was released on the morning of July 30 by Starhaus Entertainment, the manager of Korean actor Lee Min Ho, for the cancellation of the liveshow “My Everything Tour”, scheduled on the evening of August 3 at the Quan Ngua Sport Palace, Hanoi.
The Vietnamese partner - VDC Entertainment – has not had any official response. Meanwhile, musician Ho Hoai Anh, who previously appeared as the production director of the show, said he has withdrawn from the program because of personal reasons and also because of the lack of professionalism of the VDC Entertainment.
According to some sources, the show of Lee Min Ho was cancelled because of the sudden withdrawal of musician Ho Hoai Anh and the Vietnamese partner could not meet the requirements of the management company of Lee Min Ho.
The live show of Lee Min Ho was introduced at a press conference on June 24 in Hanoi. Accordingly, the show will be held for only one night, August 3, with an investment of VND12 billion ($600,000).
The organizer revealed that it took them two years of negotiation to reach an agreement with Lee Min Ho’s company and all sound and lighting equipment for the show will be hired from abroad.
The organizer also revealed that at the time of publication, the show's 2,000 tickets were purchased at the prices ranging from VND2 to VND4.2 million ($100-200)/ticket. Not only domestic audiences but many foreigners also bought the tickets.
Currently, many viewers were upset and worried whether they would be returned the ticket fare or not.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chiem, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the Department worked with VDC Entertainment’s representative in the afternoon of July 30.
Chiem said VDC Entertainment sent a dispatch to the agency on the show cancellation because of poor business efficiency, with only 122 tickets sold by July 29.
The Department asked the company to apologize the audience and refund those who purchased tickets in a certain time; otherwise it will face the law.
According to the notice sent to the Asialink Travel, the ticket distributor, VDC Entertainment said it will refund tickets for the audience within two months from July 30. Mr. Tuan Hung of Asialink Travel said the company has received orders form many domestic and foreign customers.
On July 30, some reporters went to the office of VDC Entertainment at a building on Tran Hung Dao Street but the receptionist said there was no staff there.
The receptionist added that this company hired the office from June 2013, with a one-year contract and the office was usually unoccupied.
