Mastering the guitar at the age of 5, Sungha Jung became very famous, especially on YouTube with over 991 million views and over 3 million subscribers by April, 2015. 

He gained 15 achievements on Youtube, and six“No. 1” achievements. Having composed and arranged many songs with diverse style, Sungha Jung released seven albums and the newest is “Mixtape” (May 2017).

The Korean guitarist will come to Vietnam this August for the International Fingerstyle Festival. 

He will perform at the Youth Theatre, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street, Hanoi on August 26 and at the HCM City Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1, HCM City on August 27.

This will be the fourth consecutive year of touring in Vietnam for Sungha Jung.

* Fingerstyle is a new genre of solo guitar music in Vietnam, which has been thriving in recent years. One simple way of describing this genre is that with only a single guitar a performer can play as if he is an entire band. Fingerstyle brings about a whole new perspective for the acoustic guitar and is currently drawing attention to the guitar-music genre from our community.
