The Masterclass, an intensive workshop, delved into Miss Universe’s signature cosmetics, body care, and skincare products, aiming to sharpen contestants' makeup techniques and provide valuable insights into personal branding.
Ky Duyen shared her excitement after being recognized for her talent, noting, “I learned so much about makeup, brand stories, and body care - there’s so much to absorb.” She also expressed gratitude to her team, saying, “It’s rewarding to see the hard work of those long nights and early mornings pay off.”
In this Masterclass session, each contestant table selected only one standout, and Ky Duyen’s acknowledgment as the top contestant at her table underscored her professional makeup abilities.
A separate incident involving Miss Australia Zoe Creed captured online attention when a video showing Creed fainting during the Miss Universe 2024 competition spread on social media. Concerns quickly mounted regarding the demanding schedule and health pressures faced by contestants.
Zoe Creed later addressed fans on her social media, assuring them, “I’m absolutely fine. The fainting was due to low blood pressure, which has long been an issue for me. It sometimes leads to nausea, dizziness, and even fainting spells.”
According to various sources, the contestants adhere to a packed schedule with limited rest and strict diet requirements to maintain their fitness. Adjusting to time zones and new climates has proven challenging, particularly for contestants from distant countries.
Reflecting on her experience, Zoe Creed explained that her health challenges have motivated her commitment to advocating for women’s health issues.
“This is why I’m so passionate about raising awareness around women’s health and creating a supportive space for women to discuss their concerns,” she shared.
Zoe is now fully recovered and reassured fans she will participate in upcoming Miss Universe events. Meanwhile, social media users have called for others to respect Zoe’s privacy by not sharing the fainting video, emphasizing the need to handle health matters with sensitivity.
