Nguyen will be given the chance to train alongside Cadiz B for a month, and the Spanish team will then evaluate the abilities of the 21-year-old player.

The Ha Tinh province-born man is currently playing for Ho Chi Minh City FC and has been called up to Vietnam’s U23 national team by head coach Philippe Troussier.

Cádiz are a Spanish professional football club in Cádiz in the Andalusia region. Founded in 1910, the club compete in La Liga and play home games at the Nuevo Mirandilla which accommodates more than 20,000 spectators.

Between 1929 and 1977, Cádiz played in either the second or third tier of Spanish football. In 1977 they then achieved promotion to La Liga for the first time in history. They have since gone on to play 14 seasons in the first tier, as well as spending several in the second division.
