U.S. pop singer Lady Gaga emerged from a giant egg and performed her new single “Born This Way” at Grammy Awards on Feb. 13 night.

Lady Gaga didn’t walk the red carpet of the Grammys, because she was planted inside an egg and wheeled onto the dark Grammy stage Sunday night.

The stage was then lit up and she sang her newest single “Born This Way” in the egg, wearing pink side ponytail and was dressed in skin-colored leotards

She then played an organ surrounded by gleaming, translucent heads wearing women’s faces.

The performance ended with Gaga's dancers putting a latex jacket over her.

Some bloggers said her performance didn’t exactly match the level of intrigue brought about by the grand entrance, adding that her performance was a big disappoinment and she was just "desperate for attention". (Agencies)
