VietNamNet Bridge – A prisoner at Dai Binh prison in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong used a knife to control a female official, asked for a car to go home and said he would return to the prison after that.

This case happened at 11am of August 17 at Dai Binh Prison in Bao Lam district.

Bao Lam district police said that they released a prosecution decision against Nguyen Gia Trung (29 years old, from Dong Nai province) for illegally capturing others, intentionally damaging property and intentionally causing injury.

According to police, at 11am of August 17, Trung forced Ms. H, an employee of the Dai Binh Prison, who was seven months pregnant and to get into the phone room. He then used a knife to threaten and control H. He forced H to ask the prison to give him a car to visit his home and then take him back to the prison.

During this time, Chung kicked H’s belly several times, stabbed three times to her right shoulder and one on her right hand.

After nearly four hours trying to persuade him releasing the woman, prison staff had to break the door and spray tear gas to control Trung.

At the time of the crime, Trung was serving seven years in prison for robbery and he had served already for 4 years and 6 months.
