More than 100 timber trucks carrying timber imported from Laos have been waiting for six to 10 days at the Lao Bao international border gate, due to new regulations of the Ministry of Finance on timber inspection.

 The People’s Committee of central Quang Tri province began a trial run of the “one-stop-shop” customs model at the Lao Bao-Densavan border gates between Vietnam and Laos on January 5.
