VietNamNet Bridge – Let’s Get Loud 2010, the English singing contest for Hanoian students, has been launched at selected high schools in the capital city.

 

This is the 8th event of this kind to seek young music talents and to make a playground for youth.

 

Some famous young singers joined this contest, for example Hoang Minh Thuy, Uyen Linh, Dinh Manh Ninh and Trang Phap.

 

The competition was kicked off by a flash mob performance on Hanoi streets and at selected high schools and universities in Hanoi.

 

The qualifier round will take place from December 1-3 at 80A Lang Ha, Hanoi, with around 1000 contestants.

 

The top ten contestants will compete in the final in late February 2011.

 

Total bonus is up to 300 million dong ($15,000).

 

Let’s Get Loud 2010 is designed as a reality show in which contestants will have to show their personality, singing and living skills. The top ten contestants will have opportunity to attend English language, singing and performing skills training courses.

 

Five shows of the qualifier and final rounds will be aired on VTV6 channel every Saturday night from December 25 2010 through February 26 2011.
