The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple's latest products, will be officially delivered in Viet Nam from November 14, official distributors have revealed.

The distributors have yet to provide details on the number of gadgets to be sold and their respective prices. Mobile operators VinaPhone and Viettel have likewise kept under wraps any post-paid plans and promotions they may be offering for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

FPT predicts that the lowest-capacity 16GB iPhone 6 will be sold at less than VND18 million ($855) each. It has so far refused to reveal its price estimate for the iPhone 6 Plus.

At Vietnamese stores, the prices of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have seen a significant decline compared with those offered more than a month ago.

Kaspersky releases new software

Kaspersky Lab and its Viet Nam distributor, Nam Truong Son Group, have introduced latest products to protect users of Windows, OSX and Android devices from harmful sites and programmes on the internet.

The Kaspersky Internet Security and Kaspersky Anti-virus 2015 features new innovations like wifi security notification, webcam protection and cost-aware networking. They meanwhile enhance security for financial transaction and help keep children safe.

Kaspersky Lab has also developed a multi-platform solution, Kaspersky Internet Security-Multi device, which enables users to protect up to five devices to interact, shop, and bank online under a single product.

In Viet Nam, Kaspersky Lab has been voted the country's most favourite anti-virus software for the last six years by readers of PC World magazine.

Zalo wins The Smarties award

The VNG Corporation announced on October 31 that the Zalo application has won The Smarties award in the Media Company of the Year in Mobile category.

The award is in recognition of its remarkable achievements in leading the development of the mobile marketing sector by possessing advertising and digital content.

Zalo has conducted many communications campaigns such as “Red Bull-The Invincible Bull” which win the gold prize in the Messaging category. In addition, Momo “World Cup Billionaire” and Coca Cola – FiFa World Cup Trophy Tour also won bronze prizes in the Product/Services Launch category.

The Smarties is the prize of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) which aims to seek innovations and new ideas that push the boundaries of mobile marketing. It is now available in 36 nations in the world and makes its debut for the first time in Vietnam.
