Wearing an ‘ao dai’ (Vietnamese traditional long dress) for the first time, Julia Lescova strode confidently down the catwalk at the ‘Beauty and Kindness' charity fundraiser in HCM City on June 8.  

Lescova took centre stage for both the ao dai collection designed by Dinh Van Tho and the dress collection by Quynh Paris and received thunderous applause from the audience.

Also attending the event were Miss Vietnam World 2010 Diem Huong, Miss Photogenic Vietnamese Women Truong Tri Truc Diem, Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy, Miss Universe Vietnam 2009 first runner-up Vo Hoang Yen and models Le Trang, Ngoc Oanh, Thanh Thuy, Trang Tran, as well as Mr and Miss Star Model 2012 Nia Nhi Tran and Jarred Smith.

The night show raised VND200 million to help disadvantaged people across Vietnam.
