VietNamNet Bridge – President Nguyen Minh Triet and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on July 12, sent congratulatory messages to Philippine President Benigno Aquino on the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and the Philippines.

The Vietnamese leaders said they were happy friendly relations between Viet Nam and the Philippines had gone from strength to strength and proved invaluable to the two countries' growth.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem also cabled a congratulatory message to Philippine Foreign Minister Albert del Rosario.
