The officials affirmed they would strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges to fulfil socio-economic development targets set for 2012 and the following years.
Chairman Hung said the National Assembly would actively renew their operation methods and mechanisms to mobilise the intelligence of NA delegates and voters nationwide, and effectively carry out its law-building and supervisory tasks.
Muoi expressed his thanks to the officials for their best wishes and said he believed that the Party, army and people would successfully implement the 11th National Party Congress Resolution to turn Viet Nam into an industrial country by 2020.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also visited Muoi on Wednesday.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tran Ngoc Thach presented his credentials to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi.
At the ceremony, the newly accredited ambassador conveyed State President Truong Tan Sang’s regards and best wishes to the President of UAE. He said during his term, he will give priority to boosting bilateral ties towards multifaceted cooperation in line with the two governments and people’s aspirations.
He said that the Vietnam-UAE relations have developed markedly during 19 years after the two sides established their diplomatic ties, creating a foundation for cooperation in all sectors, especially in trade and investment.
For his part, President Nahyan voiced his thanks to the Vietnamese Government, affirming that the United Arab Emirates will boost the two countries’ relations.
He expressed his hope that Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang will visit the UAE in near future.
