VietNamNet Bridge - On Valentine’s Day (February 14), passengers on Vietjet flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok were surprised to witness the wedding of the same-sex couple Thanh Phuong and Ai Linh.

Like other wedding ceremonies, the couple dressed in bride and groom costumes exchanged rings, vowed to love each other and live together forever, cut a cake and kissed intimately. The beautiful bridesmaids were Vietjet dancers.

Having seen youthful and fun shows onboard Vietjet, the couple had dreamed of a wedding on the plane. They presented their wish to Vietjet officials and the idea was warmly supported. Vietjet covered the entire cost of the wedding and the honeymoon trip to Thailand, where same-sex marriage is more common.

Ai Linh and Thanh Phuong published their underwater wedding photos on social networks. They said their wedding was inspired by the wedding of the gay couple, famous fashion designer Adrian Anh Tuan and entrepreneur Son Doan.
