The event will kick off on January 27 (Lunar New Year’s Eve) and wraps up on February 5 (the 9th day of the first lunar month) at six venues, including An Hoi Bridge, Hoai River, Kazik Park, Cau Pagoda, the Information Center at 62 Bach Dang, and on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street.

Each lighting show is expected to be lasting from seven to ten minutes, starting at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Coming to the festival, visitors can admire lighting art presentations with LED decoration.

Nguyen Van Son, vice chairman of Hoi An City People’s Committee, said the event proves a great effort of the provincial government to launch a new tourism product, which is aimed at attracting a large number of tourists on the occasion of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.
