Linh then sustained his speed to complete the final eighth lap and win the championship.
"It's so great. I decided to pass my opponent at the second bend when the final round had two laps to go. I thought it was a crucial decision and I won the championship perfectly," he said after the awards ceremony.
"However, the track is quite narrow for four racers. I hope to do better in the next stages of the championship in Nha Trang, Binh Duong and HCM City," the winner said.
Le Huy Hoa also had a spectacular acceleration in the seventh lap to finish in second place.
Ho, who lost his momentum when he was leading in the first six laps, came in third place.
In the amateur division, Nguyen Ngoc Thien finished first, beating Vu Hoai Phuong and Nguyen Anh Tuan.
Five racers fell off their bikes around bends when they tried to pass opponents. None were seriously injured.
The top speed of the race was reported to be 100kmh.
It is the first time the championship drew 50 professional and amateur racers from 19 teams nationwide to compete in two categories of 125cc motorcycles with two-stroke and four-stroke engines for a total cash-prize of VND50 million (US$2,400).
