VietNamNet Bridge – The most famous football club in the UK has launched its fanpage in Vietnamese on Facebook, alongside other fanpages in 15 languages.

As an effort to connect its fans worldwide, including about 150,000 fans in Vietnam, Liverpool FC on January 15 announced on its homepage the establishment of a Vietnamese fanpage on Facebook, with the latest information about the team, along with the worldwide English version.
Mr. Paul Rogers, global digital development director of Liverpool, said: "We have not had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam to play football, but hopefully this will take place in the next few years. We are proud that Vietnam has a large number of enthusiastic Liverpool fans. The newly-launched fanpage in Vietnamese will help us interact with hundreds of thousands of great fans in Vietnam."
The Liverpool fanpage on Facebook has about 15 million Likes. Computers and smartphones have IPs in Vietnam when accessing the page will be automatically displayed in Vietnamese. The Vietnamese content on the page is published by the official club of Liverpool fans in Vietnam (LFCVN) based on the information on the English fanpage, plus other content.
Trang Ngoc, chief of LFCVN’s PR section, said: "Liverpool is one of FCs with the biggest numbers of fans in Vietnam. We regularly organize offline and charity activities across the country. With the official facebook page, I hope that the passionate pictures of Liverpool fans in Vietnam will reach the club and friends in the world."
