Nguyen Thi Loan will represent Viet Nam at Miss World 2014 contest to be held in December in London.

Loan, 24, from the northern province of Thai Binh, graduated from Ha Noi Commerce College. She is 1.76m tall, weighs 58kg and her vital statistics are 90-63-90cm. She used to play volleyball as a student.

She won the title of Miss Beach and made it to the top five at the Miss Viet Nam 2010 contest.

Loan owns a restaurant in central Ha Noi. She aspires to start her own company in the future, either in the service industry or in fashion.

An admirer of the arts, Loan loves to paint, create handicrafts and is a skilled belly dancer.

"Loan has qualified for the Miss World contest. She is smart, determined and active. She has some catwalk experience," said Thuy Nga, director of Elite Viet Nam, the group that is responsible for sending contestants to the Miss World pageant.

Information about Loan and her photos have been appearing on the Miss World contest website since September.
