The one-night concert, to be held to mark the 10th anniversary of the VNAM’s Jazz Department, will feature several veteran and talented musicians such as Hakan Rydin of Sweden, Steve Barry, Damon Poppleton, Bernice Tesara, Cailey Soon, and George Greenhill, all of whom are from Australia.

Quyen Thien Dac, a leading jazz artist in Vietnam, will also be present at the event. He earned a scholarship to study jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston of the United States and earned his MA from Malmo College of Music in Sweden. 

Local artists such as Luong Xuan Thinh, Hoang Xuan Tung, and the Glory jazz band will join the concert alongside special guests Nguyen Tuan Nam and Dao Kien.

Vietnamese and international jazz artists will present some famous works such as Nostalgia, Moonlight in Vermont, Breezin, Vietnamese folk song Inh lả ơi, Feels Like Home, and Now's the times.

The concert will be live broadcast on Vietnam Television (VTV1) channel and Hanoi Television channel.

At a press conference held on September 25 in Hanoi, Associate Prof. Dr.  Tuan, director of the VNAM said the concert aims to connect artists with audiences while simultaneously introducing high-quality pieces of work to the public.
