The 23-year-old footballer hailing from the central coastal city of Da Nang was previously part of the national U19 team which won the 2019 International U19 Football Tournament held in Nha Trang city.

With a height of 1.85 metres tall, he had been among the outstanding goalkeepers playing for Vietnamese youth teams, alongside Quan Van Chuan, Y Eli Nie, and Nguyen Van Ba.

Ngoc Thi will compete in the Cambodian Premier League from August 10, 2024, to May 11, 2025.

The Cambodian Premier League is the top football division in Cambodia and is administered by the Cambodian Football League Company (CFLC). Contested by 10 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Cambodian League 2.

During the 2023/2024 football season, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC finished in ninth position with 17 loses and five wins.
