The National Center for Technology for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has put into operation the quarantine management platform, which supports management of people under home quarantine. Monitoring is performed by face/voice recognition technology on a VHD application. People can also wear a quarantine monitoring bracelet if they do not use a mobile device.

This electronic bracelet device is called G-TRACK. It was researched and developed by a local high-tech company called Ginnovations, a member of the G-Group technology group. This device uses GPS technology to record the location of the quarantined person. If the quarantined person gets out of the quarantine area, the bracelet will issue an alert. This device has a fairly compact size, suitable for both elderly and children...and those who cannot use smartphones.

The quarantine monitoring bracelet is one of Vietnam's latest technological solutions to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. This device has been piloted in many wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City.

The device helps reduce the risk of cross-infection in the quarantine area, and at the same time reduces the burden on the epidemic prevention and control team. This solution has been used in South Korea, Hong Kong (China) and other countries around the world.
