VietNamNet Bridge – The Director of Long An Provincial Police Agency has decided to dismiss eight police officers for using drugs during training.

On November 18, the Police Agency of the southern province of Long An announced to dismiss eight police officers who were in the time of training for using narcotics.

In September 2012, these police officers were selected for a three-month training course at the province’s police training center. After the course, these policemen were sent to a number of police units in the province.

It is reported that during the recruitment process, all tests were conducted by the clinic of Long An Police Agency.

These eight drug addicts easily passed tests to be selected for the three-month training course. It is doubted that they used the urine samples of others.

According to Tuoi Tre Newspaper, some of them are children of senior police officers in Long An.
