According to Le Thanh Loi, Director of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center at the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in central Quang Binh province, the Vietnam Book of Records is to recognize the 400-meter zip-line running from the Chay River to Dark Cave (Hang Toi) as the longest in Vietnam.

A recognition ceremony will be held on July 29 as part of the Quang Binh Cave Festival 2015.

The zip-line was opened in September 2014 and has carried 30,000 people, 25,000 of which were foreigners.

Phan Thanh Nhien, a mountain climber who conquered Mt. Everest in May 2008, said that the route from Chay River to Dark Cave has beautiful terrain that is well worth discovering.

The Quang Binh Cave Festival features a range of interesting activities such as artistic performances, a bartender show, martial art performances, kayak races and a mountain climbing competition.
