An exhibition ‘Vietnam’s lotus flowers - lifetime of lotus flowers’ on Wednesday opened at the Saigon Skydeck-Bitexco Financial Tower on the 49th floor in District 1.

The exhibition displays 60 unique artworks on the beauty and lifetime of lotus flowers captured by photographer Tran Bich. Lotus which has been recognized as the national flower is a symbol of the purity, nobility and resilience in Vietnamese people’s make-up.
As considering lotus as a cultural symbol of Vietnam, the show aimed calling on the public to live with love and happiness, with proceeds going to the charity program ‘Understanding the heart’ to help underprivileged children.
Since his first exhibition three years ago, Bich has opened 16 exhibitions with a similar theme and he has collected nearly VND2.5 billion in sales to support underprivileged children, the elderly and poor residents in mountainous regions of the country.
The show runs till August 5. The tower also takes this occasion to discount 50% on tickets to visit the site.
