FourFourTwo Malaysia has just announced the eleven players it has selected for its dream team from the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup and with little surprise–Pham Thanh Luong and Le Cong Vinh have made the cut.

“Despite being only 26 years old, Pham Thanh Luong was one of Vietnam’s veterans at the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup” the magazine reports.

“The man fondly known as ‘Little Squirrel’ truly lived up to his nickname, as his rodent-like dribbling ability and bags of tricks caused many problems for his opponents. His long-range strike against the Philippines essentially summarised his performances throughout the tournament: pure magic.”

“Arguably the current best player in Vietnamese football, Cong Vinh, was his team's main source of goals as he notched up four goals to take his overall Suzuki Cup tally to 13. He is now one goal behind Vietnamese legend Le Huynh Duc and four behind Noh Alam Shah’s record of 17 in the Suzuki Cup’s all-time goal-scoring chart.”

A complete rundown of the 11 players chosen for the team is as follows:

- Goalkeeper: Kawin Thamsatchanan (Thailand).

- Defenders: Shukor Adan (Malaysia), Tanaboon Kesarat (Thailand), Peerapat Notchaiya (Thailand).

- Midfielders: Pham Thanh Luong (Vietnam), Safiq Rahim (Malaysia), Hariss Harun (Singapore), Chanathip Songkrasin (Thailand), Indra Putra (Malaysia).

- Forwards: Le Cong Vinh (Vietnam) and Younghusband (the Philippines).
