The "Genting Dream" cruise ship will bring 3,500 tourists to Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port tomorrow at the start of a promotional tour of Vietnamese ports.
The 18-storey cruise liner will dock at Da Nang's Tien Sa port for one day. Passengers will be taken on a tour of the city’s most popular destinations, including Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain), Linh Ung Pagoda and the Chàm Sculpture Museum before travelling back to Hong Kong.
The MACS Shipping Corporation, a shipping agent, said it’s the first luxury cruise by Dream Cruise Line to visit Viet Nam. In the future it will also stop at Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Nha Trang and Da Nang. "Genting Dream" plans to offer inspirational luxury cruises to exciting destinations in Viet Nam, including Ha Long Bay.
Earlier this year, the "SuperStar Virgo" cruise ship brought 1,900 tourists from Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China to the city.
The city has hosted 2.5 million tourists in the first 10 months of this year.
