Nam, world No 886, was defeated 4-6, 5-7 by world No 408 and No 3 seed Takeuchi in this year’s event after an hour and 55 minutes.

Earlier the 19-year-old Nam beat three rivals in the qualifying rounds to reach to the main round.

Nam, born in Tay Ninh Province, will play in the coming F5 event.
