VietNamNet Bridge – On Sunday morning, hundreds of excited tourists joined the sand statue making contest on the beach of Da Nang. The castles, whales or the city’s unique bridges gradually appeared in the audience’s admiration.
From early morning, the competitors grouped up on the beach of Pham Van Dong. The beautiful and wide beach can host 1,000 to 2,000 competitors at the same time.
Each group of competitors had their own ideas.
They had four hours to complete their statue.
The competition attracted both adults and children, both Vietnamese and foreigners.
The competition drew thousands of visitors in the morning.
By noon, all works were completed. This was the second time Da Nang held this contest and the number of participants grew highly.
