VietNamNet Bridge – The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) will offer Vietnamese tourists 200 free tickets to watch the 2013 Formula 1 (F1) Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix, held at the Sepang International Circuit from March 22–24.
The tickets will be distributed to Vietnamese travel agencies partnered with the MTPB.
The MTPB has judged Vietnam one of the tourist markets boasting the most interest in the race.
The event will help promote tourism between Vietnam and Malaysia.
The special fixture for the 15th race—featuring the 14 F1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix champions from 1999 to 2012—will be a particular draw card. It is destined to become a centrepiece of the 2014 Visit Malaysia campaign.
The 2013 Grand Prix is expected to attract about 90,000 spectators. The Malaysia Grand Prix Sale will last from March 16 to April 7.
