VietNamNet Bridge – A young man in the central province of Quang Binh stabbed and then poured gasoline on his girlfriend, and then burned himself.



At 7am on May 6, Ta Ba Dien, 26, rushed into the house of his girlfriend, Duong Thi Kim O, 24, and stabbed her. After that, he spilled gasoline over the girl’s body and lit it.

When police officers arrived at the scene, the young woman was carbonized. A knife was found near her body.

After burning his girlfriend, Dien also poured gasoline on his body and kindled. However, locals detected the case in time and brought the man to the hospital.

It is reported that Dien and O fell in love with each other when they were high-school students. Recently, when O was recruited to a local hospital, as an accountant, conflict emerged between them.

Police are investigating the case.
