This is part of their world tour to 24 countries and more than 30 cities in the three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa. The five-month United Trophy Tour will cover 67,000 miles (107,800km).
According to the club's official website manutd.com, the Barclays Premier League trophy, which the club won for the 20th time last year, will be accompanied by two legends, Gordon McQueen and Denis Irwin. Dwight Yorke is also expected to be present in Viet Nam during this time.
The silverware has already made stopovers in Doha, Qatar and in two Indian cities, Delhi and Mumbai. Today it is in Dubai in the UAE and will be flown to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
In February, the trophy will visit Singapore before reaching HCM City. The other destinations will be Bangkok in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Tokyo in Japan. The exact dates of the tour will be announced soon.
