England’s Premier League football club Manchester City on July 6 agreed to sign a contract with the Vietnam Football Federation and the Saigon-Da Nang Bank for a trip to Vietnam.
The trip will include a friendly football match with the Vietnam national football team at the My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi on July 27.
A news conference on the match between the Vietnam national football team and Manchester City is scheduled to take place this weekend.
Manchester City, a four-time Premier League champion, plans to arrive in Vietnam on July 25 with 65 members. The club will stay at the Marriot Hotel in western Hanoi.
In 2013, Arsenal, another Premier League club and a 13-time champion, conducted a two-day visit to Vietnam and played a friendly game with the Vietnam national football team.
