Notably, some of them had committed illegal activities in Vietnam for two years without being detected.
On September 25, Lt. Col. Huynh Kim Ky, from the Exit and Entry Management Department of the Da Nang Police Agency, said the department had proposed sanctions and forced exit on nine Chinese people for violating the rules on entry and exit, residence transit and travel.
They include Lun Xian Rong (born in 1971, passport number G52928053, visa valid from 3/8 to 3/11,) Zou Qiang (1995, E03038109), Zeng Cong Yang (1979, E03742697) , Lou Gao Jun (1968, E01775707), Cheng Xu Hong (1965, E03038107), Xie Zu Yong (1966, E03038105), He Yong (1974, E02902232), Zuo Qian Cai (1970, E03038108), and Jiang Hong Ying (1970, E02902231), visas valid from 11/9 to 11/12.
On September 17, Lien Chieu District Police detected these people purchasing internal organs of pigs at slaughters in the district. The case was transferred to the Exit and Entry Management Department for further investigation.
These people initially declared that this was the first time they went to Danang to buy pig internal organs. From September 14 to 17, they purchased over 500kg. However, they had to confess that they had purchased pig internal organs in the central Vietnam for two years, with around 5 tons a month, to sell in China.
However police doubted that this product was sold in Vietnam because many cases in which rotten meat and animal internal organs were transported from China to Vietnam have been discovered recently.
This case shows the loose management of relevant agencies such as market management, food safety and hygiene management body.
Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Kim Ky said that based on current regulations, the Da Nang Immigration Management Department proposed to impose VND10 to VND20 million ($500-1,000) on these people and shorten their period of temporary residence in Vietnam for violating the regulations on immigration, residence transit and travel.
Earlier, on September 12, Son Tra District Police detected a 3.5 ton truck carrying household goods, stationery, etc. of foreign origin without stamps or labels. The owner of the goods was a Chinese citizen, named Peng Chan Juan (born in 1964, resident of Hunan, China) and a Vietnamese woman named Dung Thi Xuyen (born in 1984, from Ha Giang province). Both of them could not show off the business license so police seized the goods.
Son Tra district administration imposed fine of VND10 million ($500) on Peng Chan Juan for illegally entering Vietnam for doing business.
