According to the schedule, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle will preside over the Beatification Mass at 8 a.m. on July 2 on behalf of Pope Leo XIV at the Tac Say Pilgrimage Center in the Diocese of Can Tho.

Father Francis Xavier Truong Buu Diep will become the first Vietnamese Catholic to be beatified in Vietnam. More than 70,000 Catholics and pilgrims are expected to attend, together with bishops, priests, religious sisters, religious brothers and other members of the clergy and consecrated life from Vietnam and abroad.
