VietNamNet Bridge – Farmers in the Mekong Delta are harvesting the winter spring crop. This year they earn high profit of VND20-25 million ($1,000-1,200) per hectare.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mekong Delta provinces have harvested more than 50 percent of the winter spring crop, with average productivity of 6.5-7.5 tons per hectare, much higher than the previous crop.
