According to the city's Ward 10 People's Committee, the 23 and 24-year-old men were summoned on April 21 following complaints from visitors about their occupying the most beautiful cherry tree in Lam Vien Square for photographs.

"Following complaints from tourists and local people, we came to check the site and found two men had four big Alaskan dogs at the tree and were charging people to take photos with the blooming tree and their dogs," the committee said. "The dogs were placed around the tree, preventing people who only wanted to take photos with the tree."

The Ward 10 People's Committee sent a team to the site to summon the two men and dogs. The men were first charged for having their dogs in a public place without muzzles while police considered their other violations.

The cherry trees in Dalat City have bloomed again over the past few days, attracting many tourists.
