Meta announced that Meta AI will be deployed in 21 new regions worldwide. As of October 9, the AI assistant is already available in six countries: the UK, Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, and the Philippines.

“Within the coming weeks,” Meta AI will also arrive in several other countries, including Vietnam, with support for the Vietnamese language. However, the parent company of Facebook did not disclose the exact timeline for each market.

Countries in the European Union are still unable to use Meta's new tools due to regulatory concerns within the bloc.

Users can access Meta AI via the web (at meta.ai) or within the Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger apps. Simply click the Meta AI icon or type @Meta AI in the chat window to start using this feature.

With the addition of 21 new markets, Meta AI will be available in 43 countries and support over 10 languages. Meta has stated that the tool is on track to become the world’s most widely used AI assistant by the end of 2024, with nearly 500 million monthly users.

Earlier, on October 1, during a visit to Vietnam, Meta's Vice President for Global Affairs Nick Clegg confirmed that Vietnam would be one of the first countries to implement Meta AI, offering it in Vietnamese completely free of charge.

Along with the domestically produced Quest 3S virtual reality headset, Meta has high hopes for Vietnam’s successful development in the future.
