Local sky gazers will have a rare opportunity to witness the peak of the Orionids meteor shower, which is set to occur between midnight on October 21 and the morning of October 22.
Local astronomy lovers will have the chance to enjoy the sight of the Quadrantids, the first major meteor shower of the year as it reaches its peak between nightfall and dawn on January 4.
Local sky gazers will have a rare opportunity to witness the peak of the Geminids meteor shower, with the astronomical event set to occur between midnight on December 13 and the morning of December 14.
Astronomy lovers in Vietnam will have the chance to observe the annual Geminids meteor shower which is due to peak in the early hours of Monday, Dec. 14.
Apart from annual meteor showers, there will be supermoons and penumbral lunar eclipses in 2020 which can be observed in Vietnam.
VietNamNet Bridge - The Delta Aquarids meteor shower with about 20 streaks per hour is expected to appear in late July. Vietnam will be one of the countries where the phenomenon can be seen.
