VietNamNet Bridge – Attacking midfielder Vu Minh Tuan will miss his team’s AFF Cup’s semi-final match on Saturday.

Tuan has been allowed to return home to Quang Ninh Province where his father is on his deathbed with cancer.

Tuan is a member of the national football team and played in the match beating Malaysia 1-0 on November 23.

Last month Tuan scored a goal in a 2-2 friendly draw against Indonesia.

Viet Nam will play Indonesia in the first-leg semi-final match on Saturday in Bogor, 50km from Jarkata.

Tuan is expected to rejoin his teammates on December 4 to prepare for the second-leg match on December 7 at the My Dinh National Stadium.
