VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam’s top player Nguyen Tien Minh was still placed 10th with 51,770 points in the latest men’s singles rankings of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

Most impressively Japan’s Kenichi Tago moved four places to world No.5 after ranking second at the Indian Super Series last month.
Thailand’s Boonsak Ponsana jumped three notches to world No.8, but India’s Parupalli Kashyap dropped out of the top ten.
Malaysia’s Indian Super Series defending champion, Lee Chong Wei, still topped the rankings followed by Cheng Long and Du Pengyu, both from China.
At the top of other three categories were Li Xuerui in the women’s singles, Wang Xiaoli-YuYang in the women’s doubles and Xu Chen-Ma Jin in the mixed doubles, also from China.
The Danish pair, Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen, ranked first in the men’s doubles.
