VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam's top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has been seeded No 8 for the Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong Open 2012 that will take place from November 20-25 in Kowloon.

Olympian Minh is likely to meet world No 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia in the quarter-finals.

The US$350,000 event will give Minh a chance to return to the top 10 in the world.

Minh is competing at the National Top Badminton Players tournament which will conclude today.
