VietNamNet Bridge - In the last working day of the meeting in August, the National Assembly Standing Committee will hold interpellation against the Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang.

The National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 10-day session yesterday, August 12, to discuss a range of draft laws and several ordinances and decrees.
NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the session and upcoming ones will focus on preparations for the 13th National Assembly’s sixth session, which is to work out measures to promote the country’s socio-economic development, defensee and security.
The committee is scheduled to spend one day to scrutinize the draft revisions to the 1992 Constitution.
It will also hear reports on the implementation of policies and laws on ensuring the quality of curricula and textbooks for general education.
Hung also said that at the end of the session, August 21, the National Assembly Standing Committee will question Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang.
It is expected that Cuong will answer questions on the implementation of legal documents while Quang will answer questions about the land issues.
According to the result of legal document checking of the Ministry of Justice in 2012, the ministries, agencies and localities discovered over 10,000 documents that had signs of breaking the conditions of legality. There were illegal documents which affected the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and citizens which have not been annulled.
NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung added that NA deputies will question the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment the settlement of prolonged land-related lawsuits and fix the deadline to complete the issuance of the first land use right certificate in late 2013.
